Jón Breiðfjörð has been an active figure in Reykjavík’s music scene in the last few years, performing with a plethora of bands and artists. His career spans live performances, studio recordings, and collaborations across multiple genres. He has performed at major venues such as Harpa Concert Hall and festivals like Iceland Airwaves and Music Week Poland. His work with the band Flesh Machine has earned him awards and nominations in Iceland and south America. Jón has contributed to multiple singles and albums since 2021 and continues to push creative boundaries in his craft.

Jón Breiðfjörð skill as a drummer/musician expands over multiple genres, from: Jazz, soul, funk, hip-hop, EDM, contemporary music as well as Icelandic and Irish traditional folk music. His playing style being: expressive, tight and technical.

Jón Breiðfjörð is always seeking to expand his skills as a musician and a drummer and is very in-tune with the Icelandic music scene. Jón performs weekly at a local jazz jam session and biweekly at a traditional folk session, continuously exploring new musical styles.
